We all know that Waffle House is the place to be after all the other places to be close down. But you probably didn't know that Waffle House has a music award show every year celebrating the artists that are most played at their restaurants.
On November 20, 2019, Waffle House hosted their annual Waffle House Tunie Awards and some Tennesseans took home some gold waffles. Chris Stapleton's "Tennessee Whiskey" was the most played song at Waffle House this year and Stapleton was the most played artist as well.
In addition to Stapleton, Nashville-based Rosemary Joaquin was the "Scatted, Smothered and Discovered" Artist of the year. That is a real award. We didn't make it up. Check out the video of her new single with Ben Schuller, it's filmed at a Waffle House.
